2025 Igede Agba Festival: Hon Bashir Hassan Ekoja greets Igedes
The Senatorial Aspirant For Benue South Senatorial District Hon Bashir Hassan Ekoja , felicitates with Igede Nation on the 2025 Igede Agba Festival.
Igede Agba is celebrated on the first Ihigile of every September. It’s a time when Igede sons and daughters all over the world come together to thank God for bumper harvests, protection and provision, make peace with one another and reach out to the less privileged amongst them.
Hon Bashir Hassan Ekoja says Igedes are special people who, despite their exposure, education, enterprising spirit and versatility do not throw away their culture, but uphold it from generation to generation. He says he is happy and very proud to be associated with them.
On this year’s celebration, Hon Bashir Hassan Ekoja says he’s happy that the ban on loud celebration due to unfortunate incidents in parts of the land in the past, which claimed many lives and properties, has been lifted and peace restored in the land.
Hon Bashir Hassan Ekoja felicitates with the Adirahu’Igede, HRM, Chief Oga Ero; The Adutu’Oju, HRH, Chief (Dr) Daniel Ulegede, and all Igede sons and daughters. He prays God for His continued blessing in the land for more bountiful harvests, progress, peace and growth in all ramifications in the years ahead.
He promises to continue to represent the interest and aspirations of the senatorial district and provide the needed leadership and representation.
