The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has begun the accreditation process for centres participating in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
This development was announced in a statement by Dr Fabian Benjamin, JAMB’s Spokesperson, in Abuja on Sunday.
According to Benjamin, the accreditation process is a crucial step in preparing for the annual examination.
“To participate, new Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres must first visit the JAMB website visit https://www.jamb.gov.ng/Pdfs/CBT_centre_requirements.pdf, to access the requirements for establishing a JAMB-approved CBT centre.
“The accreditation process involves several steps, including: new centres must notify JAMB in writing of their intention to participate in the accreditation exercise.
“Established centres that participated in the 2024 UTME without issues must register their interest through the Centre Management System (CMS) Portal.
“All centres must conduct a mandatory Autobot/Autotest, and only those that meet the necessary criteria will be eligible for a physical visit.
“Centres that qualify will receive information regarding the date for the physical accreditation exercise, scheduled for December 2024,” the statement partly read.
Benjamin emphasised that only centres that meet all stipulated requirements would be approved and included by the Board for the 2025 UTME registration and examination.
