Pastor Jerry Eze, founder of Streams of Joy International and convener of the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declaration (NSPPD), has shared how he and his team narrowly escaped a plane crash.
Speaking during Sunday’s church service, Pastor Eze recounted the harrowing experience, which occurred after the NSPPD Prayer Conference in Lagos.
According to him, he felt uneasy before takeoff on their flight back to Abuja and requested to see the pilot. “Saturday morning, after the NSPPD prayer conference in Lagos, we got on a flight. Before we even took off, I told the air hostess I wanted to see the pilot,” he said.
Despite his discomfort, exhaustion led him to continue the journey while praying. “The air hostess walked up to me and said, ‘Papa, you are not comfortable.’ I replied, ‘My spirit is not accepting the pilot,’” he added.
Upon landing, the aircraft crash-landed, causing panic among passengers. “Everything went haywire,” Pastor Eze recalled. “Then suddenly, we heard a loud Gboahhh! They said it was a hard landing, a crash landing—whatever it was. But when we came out of the plane, all the tires had burst. Yet, every one of us came out—nothing missing, nothing broken!”
Expressing gratitude, Pastor Eze emphasized the power of divine protection, thanking God for sparing their lives.
