Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has announced a financial reward for anyone who recovers her colleague Mercy Aigbe’s missing phones.
The phones reportedly went missing during the premiere of Iyabo’s latest film, Labake Olododo, on Sunday.
In a viral video from the event, Iyabo took to the stage, appealing to attendees for the safe return of the devices.
“We are looking for it. Please, who has seen it? I did not say anyone stole it,” she said. “If anyone finds a phone that isn’t theirs, please return it. I will personally give you money.”
Aigbe, visibly frustrated, was seen questioning her assistant, who was reportedly in possession of the phones before they disappeared.
Labake Olododo is a historical drama centered on a female warrior navigating power struggles, love, and leadership challenges. The film features an all-star cast, including Odunlade Adekola, Cute Abiola, Saheed Balogun, Yinka Quadri, Olumide Oworu, Scarlet Gomez, Broda Shaggi, Wunmi Toriola, and Hafeez Oyetoro.
The movie is set to hit cinemas on March 28.
