NSCDC Commandant visits other security agencies to improve security in Gombe

In efforts to increase collaboration and information sharing between the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Gombe State command and other security agencies to effectively enhance the state’s security, Jibrin Idris, the Gombe State Commandant of NSCDC has visited other security agencies in the state.

This is contained in a press statement issued in Gombe on Wednesday by SC Buhari Saad, the Command’s spokesperson in the state.

Saad said that during the visits, Idris informed the agency heads of his assumption of duty and sought renewed synergy to execute the Corps’ mandate in the state.

The agency heads pledged their commitment to total collaboration and strengthened synergy to combat crimes in the state.

In a related development, Idris received a courtesy visit from Commander Mathew Bello Tsamiya of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), who sought synergy and deep collaboration between the Agency and the Corps.

All visits ended on positive notes, with a resolve to work collaboratively to enhance security in Gombe State.

Our correspondent reports that agencies visited by Idris, included: Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), where he was received by Controller Salihu Abdullahi; Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), where he met with Comptroller M.D. Adamu; Federal Fire Service (FFS), where he was received by DCF Suleiman Muhammed Suleiman, Acting Commander; Department of State Security Service (DSS), where he met with State Director of Security (SDS) H.N. Koko.
