Bashir Hassan Ekoja, senatorial aspirant for Benue South, has met with the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Operations to discuss the escalating security challenges in Benue State.

Speaking after the meeting, Ekoja expressed deep concern over the persistent insecurity plaguing various parts of the state. He noted that as a Nigerian citizen, an indigene of Benue, and an aspirant seeking to represent the people in the Senate, he felt compelled to engage with key security stakeholders to seek urgent and lasting solutions.

“Our people are living in fear due to incessant attacks, communal clashes, and criminal activities. The situation demands coordinated efforts from security agencies, government officials, and local communities. I am committed to being a strong voice in the Senate to ensure that Benue receives the attention and resources it needs to overcome these challenges,” Ekoja stated.

He commended the DIG Operations for granting the audience and for the assurance that the Police Force is actively working to strengthen security operations in the state.

Ekoja further reiterated his commitment to peace, security, and development in Benue South, pledging to continue his advocacy for the safety and welfare of all constituents.
