Kate Henshaw Demands Justice After Phyna’s Sister Loses Leg in Tragic Truck Accident Days After Graduation

Nigerian actress Kate Henshaw is calling for justice after a tragic incident in Auchi, Edo State, left a young woman—identified as the younger sister of reality TV star Phyna—critically injured and with one leg amputated.

The victim, who had reportedly graduated just six days earlier, was hit by a truck allegedly belonging to the Dangote Group. The incident sparked outrage after reports emerged that the driver fled the scene, only to be caught by a concerned eyewitness—said to be a local lecturer.

Shockingly, the truck’s licence plate was reportedly removed, and Henshaw claims that the vehicle is currently in police custody.

In a series of posts on social media, the actress accused the police of blocking access to the scene, preventing the victim’s family and students from gathering evidence or staging peaceful protests.

The young woman is currently battling for her life in the hospital. While one leg has already been amputated, doctors are reportedly working to save the other.

“She’s in critical condition, and the silence from the authorities is deafening,” Henshaw said, urging the police and relevant agencies to ensure that justice is not denied.

As of now, neither the Dangote Group nor the Edo State Police Command has issued an official statement.

This incident has ignited broader concerns about road safety, corporate accountability, and the treatment of victims of traffic accidents involving heavy-duty vehicles across Nigeria.
