Olabomi, whose address was not disclosed, is facing two counts of fraud and stealing. He pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Prosecutor, Cpl. Akeem Akinloye, told the court that the defendant committed the offences in July 2024 in the Oke-Ado area of Ibadan.

Chief Magistrate Mrs Olabisi Ogunkanmi granted Olabomi bail in the sum of N3.5 million, with two sureties in like sum.

Ogunkanmi ordered that one of the sureties must be a landed property owner, while the other must reside within the court’s jurisdiction.

The case was adjourned until November 26 for hearing.
