WAFAL COMMENDS PRESIDENT TINUBU ON AMBASSADORIAL APPOINTMENTS, WISHES NIGERIANS HAPPY NEW MONTH OF DECEMBER

The Founder/President of Women and Family Advancement Initiative (WAFAL), Dr. Mrs. Uche Francisca Obi, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for the ambassadorial appointments recently submitted to the National Assembly for confirmation.

In a press release made available to the press on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, Dr. Obi wished Nigerians a Happy New Month of December, noting that it’s a time for reflection on God’s faithfulness throughout the year.

“I wish all Nigerians a Happy New Month of December. It’s a month of total reflection of how the Almighty has been faithful to us as a people, enabling us to surmount every challenge we’ve faced so far. I pray that God Almighty shall give Nigeria victory,” Dr. Obi said.

Dr. Obi lauded the ambassadorial nominations, stating that they reflect the yearnings of Nigerians. She urged the National Assembly to conduct a thorough screening to ensure the best candidates are appointed.

“The ambassadorial nominations reflect the yearnings of Nigerians. We urge the National Assembly to do a proper screening to ensure that the right people are appointed. The nominees should see themselves as privileged to be chosen from over 220 million Nigerians and should put in their best to represent Nigeria well, portray our image in high standards, and keep our flag flying high,” she said.

Dr. Obi called on the nominees to represent Nigeria with excellence, promoting the country’s image and interests globally. She also urged the President to continue to yield to the yearning and aspirations of Nigeria, noting that he is a man with listening ears, and to ensure that the renewed hope agenda is further rekindled.
