In England, Raheem Sterling joined Arsenal on loan from Chelsea, while Jadon Sancho moved from Manchester United to Chelsea on a similar deal. Tottenham Hotspur secured Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth for £65 million, and Pedro Neto moved to Chelsea from Wolverhampton Wanderers for £54 million.
Manchester United made several key signings, including Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich for £50 million combined.
