The bodies of Sina Ghami and Latif “Latz” Ayodele, friends of international boxing star Anthony Joshua, who died in a fatal car crash on December 29, have been flown abroad for burial.

Joshua and the deceased were travelling along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway when the accident occurred at Makun, Ogun State. The Lexus SUV conveying them reportedly collided with a stationary truck, killing Ghami and Ayodele on the spot and leaving Joshua with injuries.

The two victims were said to have travelled to Nigeria to spend the Christmas holiday with Joshua before the tragic incident cut their visit short.

Meanwhile, Joshua, who sustained injuries in the crash, was discharged from hospital on Wednesday evening, December 31. The bodies of the deceased have since been released to their families and transported overseas for burial arrangements.
