Award-winning Nigerian actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham is set to return to the big screen with a new movie, ‘Bestie,’ scheduled to hit cinemas nationwide on December 16.
Abraham announced the film through a video posted on her verified Instagram page, taking audiences on a visual journey through highlights of some of her previous productions before unveiling the new project.
With the intriguing tagline, “Besties by choice, strangers by betrayal,” Bestie appears positioned to explore the fragile boundaries of friendship, loyalty and betrayal, while adding another title to Abraham’s growing catalogue of commercially successful productions.
The announcement comes at a significant point in Abraham’s career, as the actress continues to expand her influence beyond acting into film production and directing.
Over the years, Abraham has established herself as one of Nollywood’s prominent box-office figures, combining mainstream entertainment with productions that have attracted significant attention from cinema audiences.
