Opeyemi Falegan Apologises to Nkechi Blessing Years After Bitter Breakup
Ekiti State politician and philanthropist, Opeyemi Falegan, has publicly apologised to Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday, years after their highly publicised relationship ended in controversy.
Falegan tendered the apology during a TikTok Live session with the actress on Saturday, November 7, 2026, as the former lovers revisited their 2022 separation and discussed the disagreements that characterised their relationship.
During the conversation, Nkechi reportedly insisted that Falegan needed to apologise before they could move forward, recalling how some of his comments during an earlier social media Live session contributed to their fallout.
The actress also disclosed that she had previously defended Falegan against allegations circulating online, despite the challenges they experienced during and after their relationship.
She recalled intervening in comment sections of videos where Falegan was accused of wrongdoing, explaining that she had told critics that the person they were accusing was not the individual who allegedly scammed them.
The renewed conversation between the former partners has brought their past relationship back into the spotlight, attracting attention from social media users.
Their relationship ended in 2022 after a series of public exchanges and accusations on social media.
