The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has approved the confirmation of eight acting directors to substantive directors at the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA).
The confirmation was announced on Monday by the Executive Secretary of FCDA, Mr. Shehu Ahmad, in an official statement.
The newly confirmed directors include Mr. Jatto Abdulkareem, Director of Engineering Infrastructure Rehabilitation; Mr. Nasiru Suleiman, Director of Resettlement and Compensation; and Mr. Richard Dauda, Director of Engineering Services.
Other appointees are Charity Olla as Director of Surveying and Mapping, Mr. Yakubu Abubakar as Director of Legal Services, Mr. Abdulrahim Zulqarnain as Director of Engineering Design and Evaluation, Mr. Hassan Musa as Director of Public Building, and Maryam Ameh as Director of Internal Audit.
Ahmad expressed the gratitude of the FCDA’s management and staff to the FCT Minister for the approval, stating that this move would significantly boost the morale and productivity of the confirmed directors, aligning with the objectives of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
