A man from Coleen Bawn, Zimbabwe, has been killed following a violent confrontation over a girlfriend, police have confirmed.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has arrested three suspects linked to the fatal assault of Mlamuleli Mangena, while a manhunt continues for three others involved in the attack.
The deadly altercation occurred on October 3, 2024, at Forest H60 Mine, where Mangena was struck with a sharp object during a heated argument over a romantic rivalry.
According to police reports, six individuals attacked Mangena, leading to his death.
The ZRP identified the suspects as Trinity, Benito, and Mashelly, along with three unidentified accomplices, who assaulted Mangena on the head with an unknown sharp object.
The violence also left 30-year-old Tinashe Chirenje critically injured after being attacked with a machete and an axe. Chirenje was rushed to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Police have urged the public to provide any information on the remaining suspects as the investigation continues. The incident has left the local community in shock as authorities work to bring the perpetrators to justice.
