The Lagos State Police Command has reported the death of a 45-year-old man, identified as Kazeem, who allegedly jumped into a river and drowned after consuming a hard drug suspected to be Colorado.
The Command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday. According to him, the Alagbado Police Division received information about the incident on Friday at approximately 11:00 a.m.
Kazeem, reportedly under the influence of the suspected drug, was seen running uncontrollably before jumping into the Odo Tente river, located at the boundary between Lagos and Ogun states. Sadly, he drowned before assistance could arrive.
