Mr. Olusegun Oluleye, a Nigerian pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and an employee of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), received recognition at a workshop in Morocco for his honesty in returning an overpayment of 430 Moroccan Dirhams.

Oluleye was attending a capacity-building workshop organized by North East Consultancy Limited in Morocco with his colleagues when the incident occurred. He explained in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that he noticed an overpayment during a currency exchange and promptly informed the workshop organizer, Alhaji Ahmed Gombe. Gombe verified the overpayment and facilitated the return of the funds to the shop owner.

“I believe in integrity and am always content with what I have,” Oluleye said, encouraging Nigerians to act as honest ambassadors for their country abroad.

The Moroccan Tourism Agency and local police commended Oluleye, describing him as a “true ambassador” of Nigeria. Gombe also recognized Oluleye as the best participant at the workshop, while Hussaini Magaji, Registrar General of the CAC, praised him for his conduct and announced plans to issue a recommendation letter in his honor.
