Chinese President Xi Jinping paid a brief visit to Morocco on Thursday, highlighting the strong ties between the two nations.
During the visit, President Xi met with Morocco’s King Mohammed VI and Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan in Casablanca. Discussions centered on deepening cooperation and reinforcing the strategic partnership between China and Morocco.
The Moroccan state news agency, MAP, described the visit as a testament to the enduring friendship, collaboration, and solidarity between the two countries.
Following his participation in the G20 summit in Brazil, Xi’s visit to Morocco underscored China’s commitment to enhancing bilateral relations. According to China’s state news agency, Xinhua, President Xi emphasized China’s readiness to continue working closely with Morocco to support each other’s core interests and advance mutual development goals.
