Victoria Goodwin, wife of actor Aaron Goodwin, has been arrested for allegedly attempting to hire a hitman to murder him while he was filming Ghost Adventures, according to police reports.
Victoria was charged with solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to commit murder after investigators uncovered messages detailing the alleged plot. Authorities say she had been communicating with a Florida prison inmate since October 2024, expressing her desire to end her marriage.
“Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce,” she allegedly wrote in one of the messages.
Further exchanges reportedly included details about Aaron’s filming schedule in California, with Victoria allegedly setting aside $11,515 to pay the hitman, including an upfront payment of $2,500.
The plot was discovered when prison officials confiscated the inmate’s contraband phone, uncovering a chilling message to the hired killer: “He’s asleep right now in the hotel room… I need to know what’s going on. Can I get an update? Was it done?”
Victoria, arrested in Nevada on March 6, is being held on a $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear before a judge on March 11. When questioned by police, she admitted to marital issues but denied wanting Aaron dead, claiming she was only “fantasizing” and had no recollection of sending the messages.
Aaron Goodwin, shocked by the allegations, told TMZ he had no idea his wife was planning to harm him, believing their marriage was happy. His Ghost Adventures co-star, Zak Bagans, stated that friends and family are rallying around him during this difficult time.
The couple, who married at Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion in August 2022, recently shared Valentine’s Day celebrations on social media, with Victoria referring to Aaron as her “Valentine.”
