Nollywood actress and talk show host, Abiola Adebayo, popularly known as Biola Bayo, has laid her mother, Mrs. Mojisola Nurat Adebayo, to rest. The burial took place on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, following Islamic rites.
In an emotional video shared online, Biola Bayo was seen tearfully mourning alongside family and friends at the graveside. She described her late mother, who passed away at the age of 68 on Tuesday, February 11, as a “pillar of strength” who imparted lessons of patience, tolerance, and love.
The family has announced that the 8th Day Fidau prayers will be held next Wednesday to honor Mrs. Adebayo’s memory. They have requested prayers and support during this period of mourning.
Biola Bayo expressed gratitude for the outpouring of condolences and support from fans and colleagues, emphasizing her mother’s lasting legacy of compassion and wisdom.
