Actress Peggy Ovire Accuses Colleague Taye of Assault During On-Set Dispute
Nollywood actress Peggy Ovire has accused fellow actress Taye of physically assaulting her production manager and injuring her driver during an altercation on set.
In a statement shared on social media, Peggy alleged that the incident turned violent after Taye’s driver got involved in the scuffle.
“She had punched the production manager three times, and he was already on the floor before the driver came out,” Peggy said.
According to her, the confrontation escalated further when Taye’s driver allegedly attacked her driver, leaving him bleeding from the ear.
Peggy, however, denied claims that she or her driver had blocked Taye’s car or provoked the situation.
“I never blocked her car or told my driver to do so. She drove off while I was still standing beside the vehicle,” she clarified.
The actress’s account has sparked reactions online, with fans calling for calm and urging both parties to resolve the matter amicably.
