Multiple U.S. Air Force B-2 stealth bombers were seen heading west across the Pacific on Saturday, intensifying speculation over whether President Donald Trump may authorize military strikes on Iran’s underground nuclear facilities.

While the exact destination remains unconfirmed, aviation trackers suggest the bombers are likely en route to Guam, a key U.S. military hub in the Pacific.

Pentagon officials emphasized that the deployment does not indicate a final decision has been made but is part of a broader strategy to position forces and maintain operational readiness.

“Forward movement of strategic assets like the B-2 is standard procedure to ensure flexibility in the event of presidential orders,” a U.S. defense official said.

President Trump is expected to hold high-level national security meetings on June 21 and 22, with two Situation Room briefings scheduled. The deliberations come amid what the White House has called a “final diplomatic window” for Iran to re-engage in nuclear negotiations.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said the president’s decision is expected within two weeks but declined to comment on the B-2 deployment.

The move highlights internal tensions in Trump’s circle, as foreign policy hawks push for decisive military action while isolationist voices caution against deeper entanglement in the Middle East.

The B-2s are reportedly accompanied by aerial refueling tankers and are capable of delivering the GBU-57 “bunker buster,” one of the few U.S. weapons capable of penetrating hardened underground targets such as Iran’s Fordow enrichment facility.

The development comes amid rising regional tensions, with U.S. officials warning of consequences if Iran targets American personnel or assets.

Diplomatic efforts continue, but preparations suggest Washington is keeping military options on the table.
