Big Brother Naija Season 9 winner Kellyrae has dismissed claims that he didn’t deserve the grand prize, labeling such critics as “not wise.”
Addressing the controversy on a podcast hosted by fellow BBNaija alum Adekunle Olopade, Kellyrae responded to remarks from fans and ex-housemates, including Shaun, who argued that his contribution to the show was insufficient to justify his win.
Kellyrae maintained that personal differences should not undermine objective judgment. Using an example, he pointed out that Onyeka, despite being at odds with his wife Kassia, still acknowledges her talent.
“Even though Onyeka is not on good terms with my wife, he still recognizes her talent. That’s maturity,” Kellyrae explained. “So, for my colleagues to think they deserved the prize money more than my wife and I just shows their lack of wisdom. You can’t discredit someone out of spite.”
