BBNaija Season 10 Kicks Off with ₦150m ‘Earn-as-You-Play’ Twist
The landmark 10th edition of Big Brother Naija, themed “10/10”, launched on Saturday night with a thrilling live premiere that introduced the first batch of housemates—and a major twist.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that show host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu welcomed the contestants into the house as they began their quest for the show’s biggest-ever prize: ₦150 million.
However, in a dramatic turn, Ebuka revealed that the money will no longer go to a single winner in one lump sum. Instead, housemates must earn portions of the grand prize weekly by completing tasks and challenges set by Big Brother.
This new ‘work and reward’ format promises to intensify competition, spark unexpected alliances, and heighten suspense throughout the season.
Saturday’s premiere introduced only half of the contestants. The remaining housemates will be unveiled during part two of the premiere on Sunday.
Fans can expect more surprises, high-stakes drama, and unpredictable twists as the 10-week reality show progresses, culminating in a grand finale on October 5.
