Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 10 is gearing up to take the entertainment world by storm with a record-breaking grand prize of ₦150 million and an exciting new format that promises thrills, strategy, and drama over 10 weeks.
The much-anticipated season will kick off with a two-night premiere on Saturday, July 26, and Sunday, July 27, culminating in a grand finale on October 5.
Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of General Entertainment at MultiChoice Group, made the announcement during a press conference held on Wednesday in Lagos.
“Today, we are not just announcing another season, we are celebrating a legacy,” Tejumola declared.
She revealed that although the official theme for Season 10 will only be unveiled on the premiere night, fans can expect a “fresh wave of excitement” and the return of the iconic host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
“This 10th season also has the highest prize at stake – valued at a whopping ₦150 million,” she added.
Tejumola described BBNaija as more than just a reality TV show, hailing it as a “living, breathing cultural force.”
“It has given voice to a new generation of talent, creatives, entertainers, and the influencer community,” she said. “It has refined what homegrown entertainment can achieve when it is done at scale with intention and ambition.”
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), this year’s edition is preceded by an intense audition process. Online registration ran from May 3 to May 7, followed by rigorous in-person auditions in Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu from May 16 to May 18, attracting thousands of hopefuls from across the country.
With heightened anticipation, a refreshed format, and the biggest prize in its history, Big Brother Naija Season 10 is set to deliver an unforgettable experience to viewers nationwide.
