BBNaija Season 9 Reunion Premieres June 23 With ‘New Drama, Old Beef’
The highly anticipated reunion show for season nine of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) is set to premiere on June 23, organisers have announced.
In an Instagram post, MultiChoice unveiled a promotional photo featuring returning housemates alongside the show’s long-time host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, confirming his return to anchor the reunion.
The show will air exclusively on Africa Magic Showcase and Africa Magic Family at 10:00 pm.
The organisers teased fans with a caption promising “new energy and drama,” as housemates return to address unresolved tensions from the recently concluded “No Loose Guard” season.
“Old beef, new energy, new drama. Your faves are coming in hot,” the caption read. “#BBNaijaReunion starts on 23 June at 10:00pm on AM Showcase and AM Family. Set your alarms.”
The ninth season of the reality TV franchise introduced a twist where contestants auditioned in pairs and entered the house as duos before eventually competing as individuals. The season concluded with Kellyrae emerging as the winner, taking home the N100 million grand prize — and making history as the first married contestant to win the show.
Meanwhile, preparations are already underway for BBNaija Season 10, with physical auditions held between May 16 and 18, marking a return to in-person screenings.
