BBNaija Week 5: Rooboy Ousts Jason Jae to Become New Head of House

Rooboy has clinched the Head of House (HoH) title for week five of Big Brother Naija Season 10, toppling interim HoH Jason Jae in a high-stakes showdown on Monday night.

Jason initially secured the HoH crown in a three-peat challenge held on Sunday, right after the live eviction show. However, this season’s twist required him to defend his title in a fresh “HoH Challenger” match—a new feature that keeps the competition unpredictable.

Facing off against the top five contenders from Sunday’s challenge—Rooboy, Kuture, Dede, Bright, and Koyin—Jason fought to retain his title in a two-part contest. Despite his efforts, Rooboy emerged victorious, earning the coveted HoH position and securing immunity from this week’s eviction.

Season 10 of BBNaija, themed Ten Over Ten, kicked off with a two-day premiere on July 26 and 27, unveiling a total of 29 housemates. The season has already seen several exits: Danboskid and Ibifubara were evicted on August 10, followed by Otega and Kayinkunmi the next week. Sabrina left the house on medical grounds, while Victory and Gigi Jasmine were evicted on August 24.

With a historic grand prize of ₦150 million up for grabs, the stakes have never been higher.
