A Nigerian adventurer, popularly known as Emmiwuks, who is cycling from Nigeria to the United States of America, has shared an inspiring update as he crossed into Liberia on the 55th day of his journey.
In a post on his Facebook page, Real-Emmiwuks, the cyclist from Benue State described his entry into Liberia as a symbolic moment, marked by a rainbow that appeared across the sky.
“The moment I crossed into Liberia, the sky opened and a big rainbow stretched across the horizon. What a sign, what a blessing. In our culture, rainbows carry hope, promise, and divine assurance. To me, it’s God saying, ‘Ride on, my son, I am with you,’” he wrote.
So far, Emmiwuks has ridden across Nigeria, Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire before entering Liberia, sharing that every stage of the journey has been marked by protection and strength.
“From Nigeria through Côte d’Ivoire and now Liberia, every step of this journey has been guided, protected, and strengthened. This rainbow is not just for me, it’s for all of us who believe in the impossible. The road is still long, but with signs like this, I know we will get to the USA together,” he added.
He ended his post with a unifying message: “Together we Ride. Together we Rise. Viva Africa.”
Emmiwuks’ transcontinental journey, tagged #NIG2USA, continues to draw attention and admiration across social media, as many follow his adventurous mission to cycle from West Africa all the way to North America.
