Bethany Int’l College marks 20th graduation, opens applications for new students
Bethany International College has marked its 20th Annual Graduation Ceremony amidst funfair and glamour as dignitaries graced the occasion to celebrate graduating children at the school.
During the occasion, students, teachers and parents alongside other invited guests had a thrilling time enjoying sumptuous meals, drinks and melodious music even as prizes and gifts were given to pupils, students and teachers for their performance and dedication to their duties.
Speaking at the event, Daddy S.A Ayo, the Chief Host and Director of Studies as well as proprietor of the school excitedly welcomed everyone to the highly anticipated event which hosted dignitaries from within and outside Gombe State.
Ayo advised the graduating students not to underestimate their potentials as they step into their next phase in life.
He urged them to own their wisdom and make good use of it to impact their society and become a force to reckon with in all spheres of life.
“Nobody will use your wisdom for you, so you must maximally use it for the benefit of the society so that wherever you find yourselves, you can stand out.”
The veteran educationist urged the outgoing students to be good ambassadors of the school while cautioning them against acts that could dent the name of the school and their parents.
On her part, Mrs Benedicta Olaniyan, the Manager, Bethany Int’l College thanked parents for entrusting their children to the care of the school for educational reformation and good moral inculcation.
Olaniyan said: “we sincerely appreciate your unwavering support and commitment throughout the years.
Thank you for believing in us and allowing your children to be shaped, nurtured, disciplined, and educated-both academically and morally-here at Bethany College.
“We pray that the same God who has given us the grace to witness this celebration will also grant you the joy of reaping the rewards of your labour.”
The manager urged the graduating students to, through their character reflect excellence and Christlikeness in all they do, stressing that they must strive for perfection-not just in academic or professional pursuits, but also in their conduct, compassion, and service to others.
Olaniyan said by the successful hosting of the end of the session party, Bethany International College has officially opened application for new intakes, promising that anyone who brings his or her child to the school would get good value for their money.
On his part, Pst Anjorin advised the outgoing students to not just be ambitious but visionary, stressing that being visionary impacts the society more, leaving lasting legacies for posterity.
