Beyoncé becomes billionaire after record Cowboy Carter tour
Global music icon Beyoncé has officially joined the billionaire club, with her net worth now estimated at over $1 billion, according to Forbes.
The milestone follows the massive success of her Cowboy Carter album and the accompanying world tour, which wrapped up in 2025. The tour reportedly grossed more than $407 million, making it the highest-grossing tour of the year.
Forbes noted that Beyoncé earned about $148 million in 2025 alone, a sharp rise from her previously estimated net worth of $780 million. The publication attributed the surge to her chart-topping album, sold-out world tour, and a wave of new commercial opportunities.
At 44, the mother of three has firmly established herself as one of the most powerful figures in global entertainment and business.
Beyoncé rose to fame in the late 1990s as a member of Destiny’s Child before launching a hugely successful solo career with her 2003 debut album, Dangerously in Love. She has since sold over 200 million records worldwide, ranking among the best-selling artists of all time.
Renowned for her high-energy performances, Beyoncé previously set records with her 2023 Renaissance World Tour, which grossed $579 million across 56 shows. Her 2024–2025 Cowboy Carter Tour further broke barriers, redefining country music and debuting at No. 1 with hit singles including Texas Hold ’Em.
Beyond music, her business ventures have significantly boosted her wealth. She co-founded Ivy Park with Adidas in 2016, regained full ownership in 2022, and launched luxury haircare brand Cécred in 2024, which reportedly sold out instantly and is projected to generate about $100 million.
Beyoncé is married to business mogul and rapper Jay-Z, whose net worth is estimated at $2.5 billion. Together, the couple’s combined fortune is believed to exceed $4 billion.
She becomes the fifth musician to attain billionaire status, joining Jay-Z, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, and Bruce Springsteen.
