Veteran Nollywood actress Bimbo Akintola has revealed that, despite working with many attractive actors, she has never experienced romantic feelings toward any of them.
Akintola shared her perspective during an interview on the NollywoodHardCore show, emphasizing her professional mindset on set.
“I have never been attracted to an actor. All of you are my brothers,” Akintola said. “My frame of mind when I come to work is that of an actor being professional. I don’t see actors as ‘dateable’ individuals, even though we have some really handsome men in the industry. Honestly, I’ve never thought of dating any of them.”
Akintola also reflected on the challenges she faced early in her career, particularly with sensationalist media coverage. She recalled, “When I started out, there was a lot of controversy and all sorts of things written about me. Horrible stuff. Rumors, like claims that I didn’t wear underwear, spread quickly. News like that sells. It’s a little better now, but back then, stories were often just made up.”
Her candid remarks highlight her dedication to professionalism in an industry frequently stirred by rumors and gossip.
