BRAVE-IT Hails CDS Musa’s Two Years of Gallant Leadership

The National Coordinator of Building Resilience Against Violent Extremism, Insurgency and Terrorism (BRAVE IT), Dr. A.K. Peters, has congratulated Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa, on the second anniversary of his appointment, lauding his patriotic service and exemplary leadership of the Nigerian Armed Forces.

In a congratulatory message dated July 19, Dr. Peters described General Musa’s tenure since his appointment in 2023 as a period marked by “unprecedented patriotism, unparalleled commitment, unmatched statesmanship, and unalloyed dedication to duty.”

He further praised the CDS for his “unequivocal loyalty, unadulterated vigor, undiluted positive thinking, impeccable stewardship, and impressive gallantry,” adding that such attributes have inspired confidence and progress within both the military and civil society.

“We at BRAVE-IT join your family, friends and numerous admirers to thank the Lord with you and for you,” the message read.

The organisation also commended General Musa for fostering a cordial relationship with civil society groups, promoting collaboration with local communities, and maintaining a strong partnership with BRAVE-IT.

“As we praise your topnotch leadership of the Nigerian Armed Forces, we salute your harmonious collaboration with local communities and most importantly, your friendship, goodwill and collaboration with BRAVE-IT,” Dr. Peters said.

He concluded the message by praying for continued divine strength and guidance for General Musa in his service to the nation.

General Musa was appointed Chief of Defence Staff on July 19, 2023, by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
