Renowned hairstylist and social media influencer, Caroline Ejibunu, has announced her ambitious plan to break the Guinness World Record for the most hairstyles completed in 24 hours. The record attempt will take place at 2.0 City Walk in Ondo City, Ondo State, from December 5 to December 6, 2024.
Speaking ahead of the event, Ejibunu shared the inspiration behind her pursuit:
“My passion and creativity in hair-making have always driven me to push boundaries and explore new possibilities in the beauty industry. Growing up, I watched my mother style hair, including mine and others’. Over the years, I developed a profound connection to my craft. This attempt represents my desire to showcase the limitless potential of hairstyling while challenging myself to achieve what many might consider impossible.”
Ejibunu also confirmed receiving formal approval from the Guinness World Records organization, emphasizing that all necessary guidelines and requirements have been meticulously followed.
“This is a fully authorized attempt. We have ensured everything is in place to make this record official,” she stated.
The hairstylist hopes her endeavor will inspire young people to dream big and believe in their potential.
“I want to show younger generations that no matter where you come from, with determination and dedication, you can achieve great heights. This event is also about putting Ondo State on the global map, showcasing its greatness to the world,” she added.
The world record attempt will not only highlight Ejibunu’s artistry but also celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Ondo State.
