From 30 November, New Zealand passport holders can enjoy an extended visa-free stay in China, with the permitted duration increasing from 15 days to 30 days.
The updated policy applies to ordinary passport holders traveling to China for tourism, business, or family visits. The visa-free arrangement will remain in effect until the end of 2025, offering greater convenience for travelers.
This extension follows the initial 15-day visa-free policy introduced earlier this year, which was announced during Chinese Premier Li Qiang’s visit to New Zealand in June.
The change is expected to strengthen ties between the two nations, encouraging more travel and fostering opportunities for cultural, economic, and personal exchanges.
