China to Host Global Forum on Advancing Sustainable Transportation
Beijing will host the Global Sustainable Transport Forum 2024 on September 25-26, as announced by the Ministry of Transport.
Themed “Sustainable Transport: Logistics Connecting the World,” the forum aims to enhance global collaboration and advance the development of a transport system that is safe, efficient, green, and inclusive.
Attendees are expected to unveil a series of actionable initiatives, focusing on the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and promoting sustainable transport practices.
The forum will also include technical tours highlighting China’s advancements in sustainable transportation, featuring innovations in autonomous driving, smart logistics, rural infrastructure, urban-rural transport, and international airport and rail systems.
