Nigerian nightlife entrepreneur and socialite, Cubana ChiefPriest, has reportedly taken legal action against Helen Ati, the Kenyan woman who claims he fathered her two-year-old son.

According to Nigerian lawyer Emeka Ugwuonye, who shared the development via his Facebook page, ChiefPriest—real name Pascal Okechukwu—filed a defamation lawsuit in a Kenyan magistrate court. A court document posted by Ugwuonye indicates that the celebrity is seeking an order to stop Helen from making further public allegations against him online.

Helen Ati has consistently accused ChiefPriest of abandoning their alleged son, urging him to undergo a DNA test and take responsibility. The socialite has publicly denied ever meeting her or being involved in any relationship.

In her social media posts, Helen has insisted that the child is his, claiming she only wants him to take a paternity test and accept fatherhood if confirmed.

The situation has drawn widespread attention, with reactions flooding the internet. Critics and supporters on both sides have debated the legal and moral implications, especially as ChiefPriest’s lawsuit may now require him to prove defamation—potentially by submitting to a DNA test.

This marks a dramatic turn in what has become a long-running social media dispute, with many observers watching closely to see whether the court will order a paternity test as part of proceedings.
