Dangote Group Collects Body of Phyna’s Late Sister, Family Speaks on Burial Expectations

A fresh update has emerged regarding the tragic passing of Ruth Otabor, the younger sister of Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Phyna.

According to new information, representatives of the Dangote Group visited the hospital on Sunday, August 31, to retrieve Ruth’s remains, days after she succumbed to injuries sustained in an accident involving a Dangote truck in Auchi, Edo State.

The incident led to the amputation of Ruth’s leg before her eventual death, which was officially announced by the Otabor family through their legal representatives, Eko Solicitors & Advocates.

A source close to the family revealed that they expect the Dangote Group to cover funeral expenses, following their involvement in the incident. The development has sparked widespread reactions on social media, with many Nigerians calling for corporate accountability and adequate compensation.
