Diddy’s Ex-Assistant Shaken as Defense Suggests Rape Claim Was Fabricated

A former assistant to Sean “Diddy” Combs was left visibly shaken in court on Friday after the rap mogul’s defense team accused her of fabricating her rape allegation.

Testifying under the pseudonym “Mia,” the woman appeared stunned and momentarily speechless when defense attorney Brian Steel questioned the truthfulness of her claim that Combs sexually assaulted her at his Los Angeles home. “Everything I’ve said in this courtroom is true,” she responded, after a pause.

During her testimony, Mia recounted years of alleged sexual, physical, and psychological abuse while working for the 55-year-old music executive. She said the experience had left her with “complex PTSD” and lasting emotional trauma.

The defense pointed to social media posts in which Mia referred to Combs as a “legend,” “mentor,” and even wrote “I love you,” suggesting these contradicted her claims of abuse. Steel pressed her relentlessly, asking, “How are you best friends with a man you say raped you?” Mia replied, “Ask my therapist.”

The high-profile federal trial has drawn national attention, including from former President Donald Trump, who when asked about the case, did not rule out the possibility of a pardon should Combs be convicted.

Combs faces multiple charges including sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Prosecutors allege he abused, coerced, and threatened victims between 2004 and 2024 to fulfill his sexual desires. He has denied all wrongdoing.

On the stand, Mia also claimed Combs once threatened to kill her during a trip to South Africa in 2015 after she failed to answer his calls. She described being sexually assaulted after his 40th birthday party and said Combs blamed her while threatening to tell his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, about the incident.

Mia testified that she now suffers from chronic anxiety, struggles to maintain employment, and lives in constant fear of retaliation. “I was young and manipulated and eager to survive,” she told the court.

Courtroom observers noted that Mia kept her head down for most of the proceedings, often fidgeting and speaking in a voice so low that attorneys had to ask her to repeat herself.

Combs was arrested in September 2024 following a federal investigation into the allegations. His ex-assistant is expected to return to the stand for further cross-examination on Monday.
