Business mogul E-Money has spoken out following his release from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) after his arrest on allegations of abusing foreign currency.

E-Money, whose real name is Emeka Okonkwo, was reportedly arrested on Monday night for allegedly spraying U.S. dollars at a public event, an act considered a violation of Nigeria’s Foreign Exchange Act.

In a video posted to his Instagram account, the entrepreneur thanked his fans and supporters for their unwavering love during the incident. “No tension, everywhere good,” he said, adding, “I see all your love and support. God bless you all. itistoolatetofailmen.”

The arrest sparked widespread reactions on social media, with celebrity allies like Cubana Chief Priest rising in his defense.

While the EFCC is yet to issue a detailed statement on the matter, sources suggest the arrest is part of a broader clampdown on currency abuse and financial misconduct involving public figures.

E-Money’s brother, KCee, also made headlines earlier, revealing the businessman is the last of seven siblings.
