EFCC Grants Administrative Bail to Activist VeryDarkMan
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has granted administrative bail to popular Nigerian activist and social media influencer, Martin Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan.
The EFCC confirmed the development on Tuesday, May 6, through a statement shared on its official Facebook page. According to the agency, Otse will remain in custody until he meets his bail conditions.
Otse’s arrest followed multiple allegations of financial misconduct. The EFCC disclosed that he had repeatedly ignored invitations to respond to the accusations before his eventual arrest.
The commission emphasized that investigations are ongoing and that further updates will be provided as necessary.
