A 19-year-old Egyptian man, Mahmoud Atef Badr, was fatally struck by a speeding minibus while distributing iftar meals to motorists in Toukh, Qalyubia governorate.
The tragic incident occurred on Thursday in the village of Tersa, where Badr was handing out dates, juice, and water as part of a Ramadan tradition. According to eyewitnesses, a minibus hit him on the main road before fleeing the scene.
His friends rushed him to a hospital in Qaha, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
