Superhero film The Fantastic Four: The First Steps has made an impressive debut at the Nigerian box office, grossing a whopping N107 million since its release on July 25.
FilmOne Entertainment, the movie’s distributor in Nigeria, revealed the earnings on its official Instagram page, declaring it the highest-grossing film of the weekend.
Despite facing stiff competition from other blockbuster titles like Superman, F1, and Jurassic World: Rebirth, The Fantastic Four: The First Steps held its own and captivated audiences across the country.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the film follows the journey of the iconic superhero team, the Fantastic Four, as they unite to protect Earth from the menacing space god, Galactus, and his powerful herald, the Silver Surfer.
The movie stars Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby, alongside a stellar supporting cast, and continues to draw crowds in cinemas nationwide.
