The Federal Government has announced Tuesday, October 1, 2024, as a public holiday to mark Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day Anniversary.
This declaration was made by the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, according to a statement released on September 27, 2024, by Dr. Magdalene Ajani, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior. The announcement was also shared via the Ministry’s official X (formerly Twitter) account on Saturday.
