FG interventions target generality of Nigerians

Alhaji Muhammad Idris, Minister of Information, says Federal Government intervention programmes target the generality of Nigerians.

Muhammad stated this at the sensitisation on Renewed Hope Agenda of the President Bola Tinubu led administration in Yola on Thursday.

The minister, who was represented by Rhoda Maina, Head of Federal Information Resource Center in Yola, said that the programmes were many.

He listed some of the programmes to include disbursement of over N2.9 billion students loan scheme, empowerment programmes for citizens and digital and creative enterprise programme.

Others were consumer credit corporation comprise natural gas initiative, housing initiative, Nano business support and national youth talents export programme among others.

Mr Jonah Agye, Director National Orientation Agency (NOA) in Adamawa, expressed readiness of the agency to partner state and federal information resource center for onward sensitisation at the grassroots.

He called on the participants to understand and pass the message to their people also urging them to support government policies and programmes for the country’s development.

Agye said FG was doing everything possible to impact positively on the citizens.

In his address, Mr James Iliya, Adamawa Commissioner for Information and Strategy , acknowledged the FG’s interventions and thanked President Tinubu for the initiative.

He called on the beneficiaries to utilise the opportunity judiciously and impact on their lives.

According to him, Adamawa government has aligned with every policy and programme of the FG to ensure people in the state benefit from such initiatives.

Alhaji Idris Shuaibu, chairman of the occasion, thanked President Tinubu for implementing policies and programmes that had direct bearing on the lives of citizens.

He advised those involved in the implementation process to ensure they reached targeted citizens, especially the vulnerable.
