First Lady Visits Ooni, Calls for Patience, Promises Brighter Future
Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has urged Nigerians to remain patient with President Bola Tinubu’s administration, assuring them that better days lie ahead.
During her courtesy visit to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, on Thursday, Mrs. Tinubu emphasized the government’s commitment to sustainable development and economic stabilization, following the removal of fuel subsidies.
She acknowledged the economic challenges facing the nation but affirmed that the administration, having been in office for less than 18 months, was working tirelessly to implement lasting solutions.
“The government is focused on ensuring Nigerians live meaningful lives. While the current hardships are not of this administration’s making, we are dedicated to addressing them,” she said.
The First Lady also encouraged Nigerian youth to embrace hard work, emphasizing that success comes from perseverance and diligence.
“Nigeria is a land of abundance, but it is our responsibility to secure it for future generations. We are content with what we have, and God has blessed us richly,” she added.
The Ooni of Ife expressed his appreciation for the First Lady’s visit, commending the Tinubu administration’s efforts to guide Nigeria toward greatness.
