French Police Thwart Attempted Kidnapping of Nigerian Entrepreneur Kika Osunde in Paris

French authorities have foiled an attempted kidnapping plot targeting Nigerian businesswoman and luxury fashion influencer Kika Osunde in the Montparnasse area of southern Paris.

According to reports shared by American journalist Louis Pisano on Friday, September 5, 2025, three suspects were arrested by the Search and Intervention Brigade (BRI) on September 4. The men allegedly planned to abduct Osunde in broad daylight by posing as delivery personnel.

“Paris police just foiled a kidnapping attempt on Nigerian luxury fashion influencer Kika Osunde yesterday who recently moved to Paris,” Pisano wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Authorities believe the suspects may have tracked Osunde using her social media activity, which frequently showcases her high-profile lifestyle. The Paris prosecutor’s office has since opened a formal investigation into the foiled abduction attempt.
