FRSC leveraging technology to improve service delivery – Official
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Gombe State, says it is leveraging technology to improve service delivery to its clientele.
The Sector Commander, Mr Samson Kaura, said this on Tuesday in Gombe while speaking as part of activities to mark the 2025 Customer Service Week.
The theme of the week is: “Mission Possible.”
Kaura said the corps was leveraging technology and innovations to deal with delays in processing vital driving documents, to ensure customer satisfaction.
He said that the Corps was modernising its operations through technology which he said remained the best route to reducing waiting time, improving data integrity and ensuring faster processing.
“From driver’s license issuance to signage and number plate production, they are technologically driven. They are handled using technology to make the process efficient.
“That’s why even last week, the Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, gave a marching order on the issue of delay in the production of driver’s license. So, we are upgrading to ensure that the 60 days is actualised.” he said.
According to Kaura, personnel of the corps in collaboration with critical stakeholders will conduct free medical outreach to mark the week.
He urged motoring public to report complaints, noting that customers have the right to be served satisfactorily.
