Ghana Police Launch Manhunt for Suspect in Killing of Couple, Three Children and Multiple Others
The Ghana Police Service has declared one Mark Agingre wanted in connection with a series of fatal attacks in the Binduri District and surrounding communities in the Upper East Region.
In a statement issued on Saturday, November 8, 2025, the police announced a reward of One Million Ghana Cedis (GH₵1,000,000.00) for credible information that may lead to the suspect’s arrest.
According to the statement, Agingre is wanted for the murder of a man, his wife, and their three children on November 7, 2025. The attack reportedly left another child critically injured and currently receiving treatment at the Bolgatanga Government Hospital.
The police further disclosed that the suspect is linked to the killing of an elderly man and his two children on October 27, 2025, in Binduri. Preliminary investigations suggest that the killings were targeted, and the suspect may be responsible for several similar attacks in the area.
“Anyone with credible information on the whereabouts of the suspect should report to the nearest police station or contact the police on 191 or 18555,” the statement read.
The Ghana Police Service assured the public that intensified efforts are underway to locate the suspect and bring him to justice, urging residents to remain calm and cooperate with security agencies.
