Gov. Abba Yusuf of Kano State has extended his heartfelt condolences to Gov. Dikko Radda of Katsina State over the passing of his mother, Hajiya Safara’u Umaru Barebari.
In a statement through his Deputy Spokesperson, Mustapha Muhammad in Kano on Sunday, the governor expressed sympathy to Radda, his family and the entire Katsina State.
“On behalf of the government and people of Kano state, I extend our sincerest condolences to Radda, his family, and the people of Katsina state,” he said.
The governor prayed that Almighty Allah grant the late governor’s mother, Hajiya, eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus and console her family for their irreparable loss.
According to the governor, Hajiya Safara’u Umaru Barebari’s passing is not only a loss to Katsina and its people but also to the nation at large.
“She will be remembered by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. May Almighty Allah grant her Jannatul Firdaus,” the statement concluded.
