A Hollywood producer and convicted serial r@pist, David Brian Pearce, has been sentenced to 146 years to life in prison for his involvement in the overdose deaths of model Christy Giles and her friend Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola, as well as multiple s3xual assaults spanning more than a decade.

Pearce was found guilty in February of first-degree murder, alongside several s3x crime charges, including forcible r@pe, r@pe of an unconscious person, and s3xual penetration by force, according to ABC7 Los Angeles.

Prosecutors said Pearce met the two women at an after-hours rave before drugging and assaulting them. The tragic events occurred on November 13, 2021, when 24-year-old Giles was discovered lifeless outside Southern California Hospital in Culver City. Two hours later, 26-year-old Cabrales-Arzola was found unconscious outside Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles Hospital and later died after being taken off life support.

Toxicology reports revealed that Giles died from a lethal combination of cocaine, fentanyl, GHB, and ketamine, while Cabrales-Arzola succumbed to multiple organ failure after ingesting cocaine, ecstasy, and other substances.

Investigators said Pearce and his roommate, Brandt Walter Osborn, abandoned the women’s bodies at the hospitals after they overdosed inside their apartment. Osborn, 46, faces a possible retrial after a jury failed to reach a verdict on charges of being an accessory after the fact.

Pearce denied providing the drugs, but the jury found him guilty on all major counts following two and a half days of deliberation.

Reacting to the judgment, Giles’ mother, Dusty Giles, thanked prosecutors and said she was proud that justice was finally served, adding that Pearce’s other victims had “finally had their day in court.”

The sentencing concludes a high-profile case that shed light on Pearce’s long history of predatory behavior and delivered long-awaited justice for his victims and their families.
